Fabio Quartararo gave a masterclass at the Silverstone Circuit in the United Kingdom. From start to finish, Fabio Quartararo made an impeccable race, earning him his fifth victory of the season and eighth podium. 

Starting from third position on the grid, he slotted into second after the first corner. With 17 laps to go, the Frenchman rider #20 took over second place from Aleix Espargaró whilst realizing the fatest lap of the race. During the next lap, he skillfully overtook Pol Espargaró in Turn 12.

Taking the race lead, Fabio continued to increase his lead to nearly 4 seconds to the chasing group. Fast and constant laps enabled him to manage the gap beautifully and win his fifth MotoGP victory of season, with a 2.663s lead.

With a 206 points total, Fabio Quartararo still leads the championship and now counts 65-point advantage to the second, Joan Mir. Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP is also in first place in the team standings with 301 points.

The next MotoGP round will take place at the Aragon Circuit in Spain, from 10th – 12th September.
