Fabio Quartararo achieved a perfect performance in the Dutch GP and gifted Yamaha its fifth victory of the season.

Starting from second, Fabio Quartararo made a brilliant start and took the holeshot, but he wasn’t able to break away. In the first laps, the Frenchman rider #20 delivered a great battle with Francesco Bagnaia, Ducati official rider, for taking the race lead.

Very determined, Fabio still succeeded to take control and had broken away from the chasing group. El Diablo rode a faultless race to take his fourth win and his sixth podium of the season, with a 2.757s advantage over his teammate in second place.

Finishing the first half of the 2021 MotoGP season on top position, the Frenchman rider #20 and Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP Team continue to increase their lead in the championship standings. With 156 points total, El Diablo now counts 34-point advantage to the second, Johann Zarco. Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP is also in first place in the team standings with 251 points.

The next MotoGP round will take place at the Red Bull Racing Spielberg Circuit in Austria, from 6th – 8th August.
