Tough MotoGP round in Assen!

Starting from P2, Fabio Quartararo headed into the first corner side by side with race leader. He made the fastest race lap on lap 3. On 22 laps to go, the Frenchman #20 collided with another rider in Turn 5. He was able to rejoin the race but found himself in last position. He checked in at the pits if anything could be done and hoped to collect some championship points. Unfortunately, he was forced to retire due to a second crash on lap 11 in Turn 5 again. Fabio Quartararo still leads the MotoGP Championship standings with a 172 points total.
