Born in Nice on April 20, 1999, Fabio Quartararo discovered his passion for motorcycle racing at the age of four on French circuits. Very early on, his talent stood out, prompting a move to Spain to accelerate his development. Between 2008 and 2011, he competed successfully in the Spanish national championships in the 50cc, 70cc and 80cc categories, before claiming the Pre-Moto3 national title in 2012.

Since 2018, BS BATTERY has proudly supported Fabio as Official Sponsor, sharing his rise to the very top of international motorcycle racing.

Fabio made his MotoGP debut in 2019 with a Yamaha for the Petronas SRT team. He immediately impressed the paddock, securing six pole positions and seven podiums in his rookie season. These performances earned him the titles of Best Independent Rider and Rookie of the Year, confirming his status as one of the sport’s brightest prospects. Nicknamed “El Diablo,” Fabio continued his progression in 2020, leading the championship on several occasions and finishing the season eighth overall.

The 2021 season marked a historic milestone. Riding for the Monster Energy Yamaha team, Fabio claimed five victories and ten podiums, becoming the first French rider to win the MotoGP World Championship. In 2022, he remained a title contender until the final rounds, ultimately finishing runner-up after an intense battle with Francesco Bagnaia.

The following seasons, 2024 and 2025, proved more challenging from a technical and competitive standpoint. Nevertheless, Fabio’s raw speed, race craft and relentless determination continued to set him apart, firmly establishing him among MotoGP’s elite. He concluded the 2025 championship in 9th position, never losing his fighting spirit.

Looking ahead to the 2026 season, Fabio Quartararo enters a new chapter of his career with renewed motivation and ambition. Driven by experience, resilience and an unshakable desire to win, “El Diablo” approaches every race with the same mindset: pushing to the limit from the very first lap, always aiming higher.
