Undoubtedly, BS Battery continues its technical partnership with the GMT94 Yamaha Team, managed by Christophe GUYOT for three more years!

Three-time FIM Endurance World Champions, YAMAHA GMT94 will step up to the FIM World Superbike Championship in 2023 with a new Italian rider Lorenzo BALDASSARI, fielding a latest-spec YAMAHA YZF-R1.

The team will also continue to contest the WorldSuperSport Championship for a sixth consecutive season! The French Supersport Champion Valentin DEBISE will compete on a single Yamaha R6 powered by the BSLi-02 Lithium battery specially designed for the most demanding riders.

“Innovation is our DNA; we are constantly improving our products performance and durability. Getting feedbacks from GMT94 Yamaha engineers which test our products in extreme racing conditions are key to maintain our promise! We are not used to stay in our comfort zone, we’ll continue to work hardly with the engineers on new developments” says Benjamin SEBBAN, General Manager – BS Battery.

On top of the BSL-02, the smart chargers (BS10BS30BK20) and the boosters (Powerbox) provided by BS Battery, both partners are working on new product developments to fit the high demand from competition.

“Each year, each race allows us to learn and evolve. We have both the same values. Our ambitions are strong for the upcoming seasons, not only in term of race ranking but technical development as well. It is important for us to be one step ahead and think about the future of our sport. Our partnership with BS Battery is a real added value for our bike development. We are optimizing our sustainability, saving time, improving performance and more than anything, we share the same vision: our sport must remain accessible for all” add Christophe GUYOT, GMT94 Yamaha Team Manager.

After a series of successful tests in Portimão (Portugal), GMT94 Yamaha Team and BS Battery are ready to kick the World Superbike and World SuperSport season which will start in Australia next 25 and 26th February!
